TWO WEEKS TO GO!

The much-awaited football season is upon us! This year, excitement surges as teams across various age divisions are ready to showcase their talent on the pitch. With open age categories featuring four divisions—Premier, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3—and under-18 divisions boasting three, there's plenty to look forward to for every football supporter.

The Premier Division

The Premier Division is the highest level of competition in the open age categories, competing at tier 7 level of English Football. The stakes are incredibly high, with the possibility of being promoted to the North West Women's Regional Football League, tier 6, where there are plenty of former GMWFL teams having great successes!

Bury Reserves, Lymm Rovers and Winton Wanderers will look to continue the success of last season following their promotion from Division 1 to the Premier Division.

The Premier division looks to be highly competitive with 8 teams: Afc Chorlton, Bury FC Women's Reserves, Hyde United Ladies, Lymm Rovers Women, Mancunian Unity B, Oldham Athletic Women, West Didsbury & Chorlton AFC Women Reserves and Winton Wanderers.

We will also see three of our Premier division sides competing in the FA Cup this season, best of luck to Hyde United Ladies, Lymm Rover Women and Winton Wanderers.
