League Meeting 18/08/25 Minutes

Greater Manchester's Women's Football League Meeting Monday 18th August 2025.

Venue- Hyde United FC

Meeting opened at 1943 hours by Lee Robinson (Secretary)

• Everyone was welcomed by the League Secretary and then Lee Sutton (Chairman) gave a few lines about how the next season will run and how teams should go to the relevant committee member for their issue.

• There was a recap on the new laws of the game update:

The new Goalkeeper 8 second rule

The new drop ball rule

The league is adopting the Captain Only – if there is a dispute then the captain should speak with the referee

The new ball in play law

• Bayleigh, the registrations secretary outlined and recapped on the registrations situation, she also named teams who had submitted incorrect photographs and advised on what they needed to do to change them

• Ashley, the OA secretary and fixtures secretary recapped postponements and then Full-Time admin was touched upon, Wednesday at 1200 is the deadline for Full Time admin to be complete. Failure to do so will result in a fine.

• Cup Final Dates were announced:

OA Challenge Cup Final – 6th May 2026

Under 18s Finals – 9th and 16th May

OA Finals – 10th and 17th May

• Challenge Cup Final draws were completed
