Premier Division Highlight

This weekend we're taking a closer look at the Premier Division and how it's taking shape. Cup action this weekend meant there was a lack of games however we are beginning to see who could be title challengers. At the top of the table, Mancunian Unity B sit top with 9 points after 4 games, however, they are closely followed by both Hyde United and Rochdale AFC who are on 9 and 6 points respectively. Following last season's success, Rochdale AFC would be expected to be up there, whilst Hyde is performing extremely well and the game in hand on Unity could be key to going top of the table early doors.

At the other end of the table, we have Whalley Range, FC United Of Manchester Development and AFC Chorlton, with all of the sides being on 0 points. FC United are yet to play a game after a late start to the season however Whalley Range have played three and are yet to bring home any points. AFC Chorlton have only played one game and conceded 12 goals, making them sit bottom of the table.

That's a wrap for this weekend's League action - unfortunately, there were fewer divisional games due to cup fixtures however league action should be back in full next week.
